So disappointed I have never had a bad order before but this time was dreadful.Chips and batter were not thoroughly cooked so chips were pale and hard batter was soggy .At least the fish under the batter was up to standard and was delicious.

What a let down food is usually well cooked and tasty. Tonight fish batter was undercooked giving fish a strange flavour battered sausage rock hard and chips varied from undercooked to scrapings up the leftovers curry sauce lacked flavour might try again so.etime in the distant future Has the shop changed hands? Have they lost the ability to cook?

The food was amazing! It was hot, fresh and tasty. Brilliant portion sizes with a lovely selection of salad available when ordering. All packed in a paper bag neatly. I have to especially compliment the chicken giro, it was my first time of trying it and I will definitely be having it again! It was delicious! Thank you very much B My Chip! See you soon

A drop in standard to my many previous takeaways from here. Onion rings were all batter Veggie burger - No chilli sauce bun was poor quality and the very small amount of salad. Chicken wrap - Chicken was bland

The fish from here is so good! I've seen brown bears from Canada queueing for battered fish when they want a change from fresh salmon.

Not my local but we make an effort to go there because it’s worth it. Sadly it was a wasted effort today. Whether it was a bad batch of spuds or they’re cutting corners and buying cheaper varieties I don’t know. But the chips had loads of bad bits in them plus black burnt bits stuck on them. The potatoes were dry and the outer not crispy as we’ve come to know and love BMC’s chips to be. Such a disappointment. Also the batter was way too thick and soggy. I get the feeling there are new owners? If so then you really need to up the game to keep our custom. We will be giving it a miss for a while. I so hope it’s just a temporary blip as it used to be in a league all of its own.

No point in ordering online, as they hadn't made the order up when I arrived to pick it up, 15 minutes after the estimated collection time. Food was top quality though, as usual.

Ordered online and my fish and chip order was ready to collect within 15 mins. Cod pieces were excellent supplemented by very generous portions of chips. Would recommend and will be going back there again
